One person dead in fatal rollover crash in Bloomer Wisconsin

BLOOMER, Wis. (WLAX/WEUX) – One person is dead after a single-vehicle rollover in Bloomer Sunday morning.

According to the Chippewa County Sheriff’s Office, the crash happened on State Highway 40 near 155th Avenue. Chippewa County Sheriff Travis Hakes said a truck was driving on State Highway 40 when it left the road, drove over a driveway and went airborne. The truck then hit an embankment and trees before it rolled over.

The driver was the only person in the vehicle and died at the scene. The driver’s name has not been released and the crash is still under investigation.

Starting Wednesday, people who check out with Google Pay will be able to see their card benefits and perks before selecting a card, use "buy now, pay later" through partners like Affirm and Zip and fill in their card details through biometrics or a PIN, instead of by entering their security code.
