One Less Woman In Obama's Cabinet: Hilda Solis Quits

Secretary of Labor Hilda Solis has resigned, according to the Associated Press and BuzzFeed. This means President Obama's cabinet will have one less woman, unless he picks a woman to replace her. Some had expected Solis to stick around for a second term. So far, Obama's team for his last term is looking pretty white and male: John Kerry for Secretary of State, John Brennan for CIA director, Chuck Hagel for Secretary of Defense, Jack Lew for Treasury Secretary. Obama was considering Susan Rice for Secretary of State until she withdrew her name from consideration due to Republican opposition.
