The dead person at the scene was a man. Two women who were injured were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

No identities have been released yet nor do we know any specific ages on the victims. We also don’t know what may have led to the shooting.

“It is shocking to hear it and I hope it doesn’t change it for people,” said Colleen Donohue on the shooting, visiting from Boston. “I hope this doesn’t become an area that people are you know nervous about coming to because I love this revitalization. At nighttime, to see the lights and it’s just so nostalgic, the pop culture going back to the 50s and 60s that’s been preserved. And the Moonrise has just great memorabilia as well.”

At this point, police tell us no suspects are in custody.

Homicide detectives were called in to take over the investigation. The police have not said anything about any suspects in the case. More updates will be provided as new information becomes available.
