One injured in Southeast Roanoke shooting, investigation underway

ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR) — Police in Roanoke are investigating a shooting in the southeast area that left one person injured early Wednesday morning.

Details remain limited; however, Roanoke police told WFXR that around 1 a.m., officers responded to the 1600 block of Riverdale Road SE.

The victim’s condition is currently unknown.

Police told WFXR that no suspects are in custody at this time, and the shooting remains under investigation.
