Police: Man dies after shooting in Baton Rouge, teen in custody
BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) — A Monday afternoon shooting left one man dead and a teen in custody.
The Baton Rouge Police Department said Sherderick Jones, 46, died from his injuries after being taken to a local hospital in critical condition. According to police, the shooting happened after a 14-year-old got into a fight with the victim in the 3400 block of Clayton Street.
Police said the teen was taken into custody.
