One injured, charges pending after crash on I-81 in Greene County
GREENEVILLE, Tenn. (WJHL) — One person was injured during a crash on Interstate 81 southbound Wednesday afternoon, according to the Tennessee Highway Patrol (THP).
A report from the THP states a vehicle was traveling south on I-81 near mile marker 26 when it “ran off the right side of the roadway and entered a clockwise rotation.”

The vehicle then collided with several trees and rolled over, according to the report. It then came to an uncontrolled rest facing north on its top.
The driver, a 23-year-old male, was injured, and the THP report said charges are pending against him.
