One hurt in Wednesday Coles County crash
COLES COUNTY, Ill. (WCIA) — One person was seriously hurt on Wednesday in a crash in rural Coles County.
The crash happened on Illinois Route 121 at Dole Road, close to Mattoon. Illinois State Police officials said two commercial vehicles crashed into each other but didn’t provide details about how the crash happened.

One of the drivers was airlifted from the scene to a regional hospital; their condition is unknown. The driver of the other vehicle was not hurt.
