NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — One of the teenagers accused of being connected to the carjacking of Orleans Parish District Attorney Jason Williams has pleaded guilty.

According to court documents, 19-year-old Raymond Rochon admitted to possessing a stolen truck that was reported to be used in the carjacking but not to the act of carjacking itself.

The investigation revealed that there are four other suspects in the case who are all teens:

  • Ahmad Seals

  • Dijohn Curtis

  • Amajha Curtis

  • Santana Gilmore

Each teen faces a charge of armed robbery and has pleaded not guilty.

On Oct. 16, 2023, Williams and his 78-year-old mother were on Race Street in the Lower Garden District when they were approached by two masked individuals and carjacked at gunpoint.

Williams gave a recount of the incident.

Two masked individuals got out, brandishing automatic hand guns, pointed them at my head and told me to give up the car. I put my hands in the air, attempted to comply, but I was very clear that I could not give up the car until I got my mother out of the car.
