That's one way to boost company morale.

The Park Hyatt hotel on Chicago's glamorous Magnificent Mile recently hired a new concierge - in the form of Parker the one-eyed pug.

The hotel's general manager Walter Brindell rescued Parker from PAWS Chicago, where he is a member of the development board.

"For the staff, the associates, without question, it has just put a smile on their faces and it brings in an element to hotel environment that was not there before," Brindell told the Chicago Tribune.

PAWS spokeswoman Sarah McDonald told the Chicago Tribune that Parker was rescued from Tennessee in November in rough shape. She still needs daily medicine, and luckily her colleagues at the Park Hyatt are happy to help.

Not only do Parker's coworkers love taking care of her, but the pup appears to add to the guest experience at the Park Hyatt. Both the staff and visitors to the hotel have taken to Instagram to display their adoration for the dog of the hour.

We assume that Parker the pug can help hotel guests with all typical concierge duties. Or at least tell them where to get the best treats.
