A Rochester woman was killed in a head-on collision between her vehicle and one driven by a Yelm woman on Friday morning on Old Pacific Highway east of Lacey.

According to a news release from Washington State Patrol, the crash occurred at 9:18 a.m. A Rochester woman was driving east as she approached Rockcress Drive. The Yelm driver was traveling west. The Rochester woman approached a curve in the road and crossed the center line.
