One dead from east Charlotte shooting: CMPD

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — One person is dead following a shooting in east Charlotte Friday evening, Mecklenburg County authorities say.

According to Medic officials, the shooting occurred around 6:45 p.m. April 12 in the 7600 block of Boswell Road, off Harrisburg Road. The victims was pronounced dead at the scene.

Staff member at Huntersville school seriously injured after being struck by car near campus

Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police are investigating it as a homicide.

The identities of the victim and suspect are unknown at this time.
