One in custody after person robbed in Huntsville

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) — Huntsville Police say one person is in custody after a person was robbed on Friday.

At this time, HPD confirmed one person is in custody in the area of Boardwalk and University Drive. They were taken into custody in connection to the robbery of a person earlier in the day.

Multiple HPD officers were seen by News 19 crews in the area of Wynn Drive around 5:30 p.m. Authorities confirmed the officers were working to apprehend a robbery offender.
