One dead after Whitehaven crash

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — One person is dead after a crash in Whitehaven, according to Memphis Police.

Police responded to the scene at around 6:20 p.m. Friday. All southbound lanes of traffic on Airways Boulevard and East Raines Road were blocked due to the one-vehicle crash.

Man fatally struck by vehicle in Parkway Village

One person was reportedly airlifted to a local hospital in critical condition. They were later pronounced dead.
