Ole Miss announces 3 new transfer players
May 8—OXFORD — The Ole Miss women's basketball team announced its transfer signing class Monday afternoon, adding three new players.
Head coach Yolett McPhee-McCuin led the Rebels to the Sweet 16 and an upset of top-seed Stanford in the second round this past season. The Rebels have made the last two NCAA Tournaments.
Ole Miss loses first-team All-SEC guard/leading-scorer Angel Baker and point guard Myah Taylor but returns forward Madison Scott, guard Ayanna Thompson and forward Snudda Collins, among others.
"Every year we focus on bringing in the right pieces into our program. This year I believe my staff and I have been intentional about doing that," McPhee-McCuin said in a news release. "Each signee will only continue to help us on our journey to achieving our ultimate goal, which is winning a National Championship."
Here are the newest Rebels.
Senior guard Kennedy Todd-Williams (6-foot), North Carolina
Todd-Williams was second-team All-ACC at North Carolina last season after averaging 13.4 points per game and made a team-best 52 3-pointers.
Senior guard K.K. Deans (5-foot-8), Florida
Deans averaged 14.1 points per game and made 77 3-pointers last season at Florida. She played her first two seasons at West Virginia.
Sophomore forward Kharyssa Richardson (6-foot-2), Auburn
Richardson started 27 games at Auburn as a freshman and averaged 7.2 points and 4.7 rebounds per game.
