Oklahoma woman killed in car crash

SPAVINAW, Okla. — An Oklahoma woman died on Thursday from injuries she received in a car crash where she was pinned for two hours, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported.

Brenda Grace, 62, of Watts, was pronounced dead at the scene, the patrol reported. The driver of a second vehicle, Pakao Lee, 65, of Jay was flown by helicopter to St. John Medical Center in Tulsa where he was admitted in stable condition with external head injuries.

Sai Lee, 55, also of Jay, was also flown by helicopter and admitted to St. John Medical Center in stable condition with trunk and arm injuries.

The crash happened around 9:48 a.m. on OK-20 approximately three miles northeast of Spavinaw in Mayes County.

Grace’s 2008 Mazda Miata was westbound on OK-20 and Lee’s vehicle, a  2008 BMW 328, was eastbound on OK-20 when for an unknown reason Grace’s vehicle crossed the center line and hit Lee’s vehicle head-on, the patrol said.

The condition of both drivers and the cause of the collision is under investigation, the patrol said.
