Oklahoma in top 10 worst states for working moms, study shows

Oklahoma ranks the eighth-worst state for working moms in a recent study from WalletHub with low scores in child care, professional opportunities and work-life balance.

According to WalletHub, 74% of moms with children under 18 were working during 2023.

In Oklahoma, the state ranks last in pediatricians per capita and 45th in percent of single-mom families in poverty.

The state also ranks 34th in child-case costs, 35th in gender pay gap, 45th in ratio of female executives to male executives and 35th in female unemployment rate.
