Oklahoma man dead after fatal Maysville crash

MAYSVILLE, Ark. (KNWA/KFTA) — An Oklahoma man is dead after a car crash in Maysville on Thursday, according to a crash report.

Robert Scott, 70, of Jay, Okla. was driving a 2017 Jeep Cherokee south on state highway 43 north of state highway 102.

At around 12:30 p.m., Scott’s Cherokee traveled off the road and hit a tree head-first.

According to the crash report, Scott was pronounced dead on the scene.

Road conditions were reported to be dry with clear weather conditions.

Scott’s body was taken to Benton County Coroner’s Office.
