Oklahoma college student injured in shooting range accident

TISHOMINGO, Okla. (KFOR) – An Oklahoma college student was rushed to the hospital after an accident on a shooting range.

According to the school, the incident happened during practice Monday night at Murray State, in Tishomingo.

School officials say a shotgun accidentally discharged while the student was on the shooting range. The student was flown by helicopter to a hospital for treatment.

The incident is still under investigation.
