OKCPD investigating homicide in SW Oklahoma City

OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) – Oklahoma City Police are investigating a homicide in southwest Oklahoma City. The shooting has left one person dead and no one in custody.

It happened just before noon on Wednesday morning in a residential neighborhood near Southwest 35th and Agnew.

“Oklahoma City Police responded to a residence in the 2300 block of Southwest 35th Street. Officers arrived there. They found what appeared to be a shooting victim there, an injury consistent with a gunshot wound,” said Oklahoma City Police Sergeant Dillon Quirk.

OKCPD says the victim who was shot was transported to a nearby hospital, but later died.

So far, no arrests have been made.

“We’re in the very early stages. Investigators are processing the scene as we speak,” said Quirk.
