OKCPD investigate shooting in SW OKC, suspect in custody

According to officials, the victim was treated and released.
The suspect, identified as 46-year-old Daniel Deakins, was taken into custody following the shooting.
UPDATE @ 8:14 p.m. – Lt. Jeff Cooper PIO with the Oklahoma Police Department says, around 7 o’clock this evening, officers responded to a shots fired call, when they arrived they found a woman lying in a front yard. The woman was transported to hospital, in stable condition.
One adult male is in custody. This was a dispute between neighbors and too early in the investigation to know whether or not the neighbors had a relationship, according to Lt. Cooper.

OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) – The Oklahoma Police Department has confirmed one woman has been shot in SW Oklahoma City.
Details still unknown at this time, according to Lt. Cooper with the Oklahoma Police Department. Authorities say, a shooting call came out with one victim found in the front yard of 10445 Fairfax Lane.
