FOX News confirmed his death certificate revealed Simpson died of metastatic prostate cancer.
Simpson’s longtime lawyer, Malcolm LaVergne told FOX News that he visited OJ just before Easter in Las Vegas.
According to LaVergne, a doctor told him that Simpson was “transitioning” on April 5.
“On April 10th, our father, Orenthal James Simpson, succumbed to his battle with cancer,” his family then announced on X on April 11. “He was surrounded by his children and grandchildren.”
LaVergne said OJ was cremated. No public service is planned.
