Ohio State asst. Greg Schiano accidentally hit cyclist with his car

Ohio State defensive coordinator Greg Schiano hit a bicyclist with his car near campus early Thursday morning.

A 26-year-old unnamed male student was taken to the hospital with head injuries after being hit while Schiano was traveling east and turning north onto Fred Taylor Drive and the bicyclist was traveling westbound. The accident occurred in the intersection. The student was taken to Wexner Medical Center at Ohio State University and was in stable condition.

Columbus Police and Fire divisions were called to the scene and the accident is under investigation.
