Ohio man arrested in NJ accused of having around $500K worth of cocaine: officials

LAWRENCE TOWNSHIP, N.J. (PIX11) — Officials seized half a million dollars worth of cocaine in a New Jersey motel in March, Mercer County Prosecutor Angelo J. Onofri announced Tuesday.

An investigation brought police to a Motel 6 in Lawrence Township on March 21, according to officials. Police found William Adrover Rodriguez, 48, of Ohio, inside a room on the first floor with around 5.1 kilograms of cocaine worth around $500,000.

Rodriguez was charged with several first-degree drug charges, according to officials.

Jamie Acevedo-Correa, 42, of Rio Grande, N.J., Manuel Castro Velazquez, 46, of Trenton and Elvin Perez-Medina, 34, of Puerto Rico, were also arrested on conspiracy charges, the prosecutor said.
