Ohio Amber Alert canceled: 2-year-old found safe, suspect apprehended in Akron

The statewide Amber Alert issued for a missing 2-year-old boy who was reported abducted from northeast Ohio has been canceled. The boy has been found safe and the suspect has been arrested in Akron, the Wayne County Sheriff's office confirmed Friday.

The Amber Alert was issued after a Dodge Ram 1500 pickup truck containing 2-year-old Sutton Eggeman sleeping in the back that was stolen from outside of a Dollar General in Marshallville, located northeast of Wooster and southeast of Akron.

Sutton Eggeman, 2, was the subject of a statewide Amber Alert after the pickup truck he was sleeping in was stolen from outside a Dollar General store in Marshallville in northeast Ohio. The male suspect was later arrested in Akron and the boy was recovered safely.
