“Ann was the welcoming face of the Health Department for many years. She was a good neighbor and a good friend to everyone. We miss her and will be here to support her family during this difficult time,” Ryan said.

A 27 News reporter spoke with Ann’s ex-husband, Bobby Miller, who was focused on supporting their kids during this difficult time.

“It was to be here for my kids,” Bobby said. “They’ve been shifting through rubble trying to find her pets that came up missing, and that’s kind of kept them busy and kept things off their mind.”
