Officials investigating city wide strong smell of natural gas in Grosse Pointe Woods

GROSSE POINTE WOODS, Mich. (FOX 2) - Police are investigating a city-wide strong smell of natural gas in Grosse Pointe Woods.

"DTE and Public Safety phone lines are flooded with calls," officials said.

This smell is miles wide and multiple communities are affected.

UPDATE (11:20 AM): DTE has investigated the odor throughout the City and determined it is not a gas leak. There is no cause for concern at this time.
