Officers searching for man after police chase ends in north St. Louis County

PINE LAWN, Mo. — Police are searching for a man who is wanted for a carjacking. The man ran from officers after crashing a car during a police chase. A woman and two juveniles are in police custody after being found in the stolen vehicle.

Police were called to the QuikTrip in the 900 block of South Vandeventer for a report of a carjacking Monday at around 5:30 a.m. They say a man had his Honda Accord taken at gunpoint by another man.

Fatal shooting at Collinsville home, police investigating

St. Louis County police officers spotted the stolen vehicle at around 8 a.m. near the intersection of  Halls Ferry Road and Leamont Drive. Officers say the driver refused to pull over, leading to a police chase. The chase ended when the vehicle crashed into a curb near Ravenwood Avenue and Kenewah Avenue.

Three suspects, including one juvenile male, one juvenile female, and one woman, are in police custody. The police are still looking for the man who ran from the scene.
