1 person flown to hospital after being hit by car in Piqua
One person was flown to the hospital after being hit by a vehicle in Piqua overnight.
Piqua Police officers were dispatched at 2:10 a.m. to the intersection of Covington and McKinley Avenues on initial reports of a crash.

When they got to the scene, they found an individual who had been hit by a vehicle.
That person was flown to an area hospital to receive medical treatment, Piqua Police Chief Deputy Dave Thomas confirmed to News Center 7. That person’s condition is currently unknown.
The crash remains under investigation.
