Office worker in Ga. school shooting writes book

ATLANTA (AP) — A school bookkeeper who police say talked a gunman into surrendering after he fired shots at a metro Atlanta school has written a book about the ordeal.

Antoinette Tuff told ABC's "Good Morning America" that she had a conversation with God as she tried to talk the man accused of opening fire on police officers into eventually giving himself up. She said she asked God how she should react.

Police say Michael Brandon Hill went to the Ronald E. McNair Discovery Learning Academy in Decatur Aug. 20 with an assault rifle and nearly 500 rounds of ammunition. Hill faces charges that include aggravated assault.

Tuff's new book is titled "Prepared for a Purpose."
