A 90-year-old Florida man was arrested after punching a neighbor in the face — twice — because the old-timer was upset about someone being on his lawn, police say.

According to the cops, when they questioned nonagenarian Thomas Conrad about the dispute, he told them to “Get the f—k out of my house.”

The incident happened Saturday in the Orlando suburb of Sorrento, Fla., according to a police report posted to the Smoking Gun. Conrad was allegedly irritated that a worker cutting his neighbor’s lawn was not respecting their shared property line. That neighbor, Jack Henson, claimed he calmly asked Conrad several times to stop harassing his gardener.

That allegedly further upset Conrad, who began shouting “vulgar obscenities” and told Henson, 46, “I should punch you.”

Henson said “Go ahead,” but warned his neighbor, who’s nearly twice his age, that if he started throwing haymakers, the police would be called. Conrad is accused of then landing two punches on the left side of Henson’s face and returning to his home, causing the alleged victim to make good on his warning too.

When police arrived, the alleged assailant’s 89-year-old wife told them her husband was lying down and didn’t want to talk to them. Once convinced to speak to authorities, cops say Conrad argued he struck his neighbor because Hanson told him he could. Trying to illustrated a point, officers say they asked Conrad what he would have done if Henson said he could go ahead and shoot him.

“Then I would have shot him,” Conrad allegedly replied.

Police claim Conrad then began losing his patience with them and dropped an F-bomb while telling them too to get off his property. He also got tense and “balled up his fists” upon being informed he was being arrested, cops claim. Deputies were able to apprehend Conrad without further violence and charged him with simple battery and resisting law enforcement without using violence.

The suspect turns 91 next month.

Conrad was ordered not to have contact with Henson. The pair live in a gated country club community.
