Odesa Botanical Garden calls on city residents to help with aftermath of massive Russian missile attack
The Odesa Botanical Garden, in its March 27 Facebook post, called on city residents to help clean up the damage caused by a massive Russian missile attack on March 25.

The attack caused severe damage to the greenhouses, administration building, library, and laboratories. Windows and doors in the buildings were shattered by the blast wave.

The Botanical Garden’s staff called on Odesans to help with the cleanup. It is scheduled for March 29 and 30, between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m., with the first step being the removal of glass in and around the greenhouses.

“Please come prepared with work gloves. We have a lot of restoration work ahead of us. And with your help, we hope to succeed,” the post said.
Ten people were injured in the March 25 Russian attack on Odesa with two missiles that flew a ballistic trajectory through the city’s recreation area. The attack destroyed several buildings, shattering windows in some 300 apartments and damaging the Sports Palace.
