Oceanside approves wave pool, housing development

OCEANSIDE, Calif. (KUSI) — The City of Oceanside gave unanimous approval to build a wave pool and a modern housing development three miles from the ocean.

“We had a unanimous decision in our favor, both at the planning commission and at the city council, and I think very few projects, especially a project of this magnitude can claim that — unanimous support by both bodies,” Jon Corn of O’Side Partnership LLC said to KUSI on Tuesday.
