OC trustees meet

Oct. 24—The Odessa College Board of Trustees will meet at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday in the Zant Community Room of the Saulsbury Campus Center, 201 W. University Blvd.

Some of the items on the agenda are:

>> Consider and approve purchase of network switching.

>> Consider and approve AIA agreement for pedestrian bridge. AIA contracts and forms are consensus documents that reflect advice from practicing architects, contractors, engineers as well as owners, surety bond producers, insurers, and attorneys. https://aiala.com/why-use-aia-documents-2/

>> Utilizing Medical Center Health System contracts for purchasing.

>> Monthly financial statements and budget amendments.

>> Quarterly investment report.

>> Informational items: Education report-adult education and literacy; Institutional Effectiveness report; Vision 2030+ update; President's report: National Night Out; 30 for 30 finale; "Noche de Arte" Odessa College Latinix Art Show; Nadia Rivas nominated for the Don Quixote Outstanding Hispanic Educator Award; Pervis Evans named Impact Academy Fellow.
