An opinionated gynecologist who has disputed health claims made by Gwyneth Paltrow‘s website Goop is targeting Dr. Mehmet Oz again — this time, for linking astrology to health.

On Wednesday, Dr. Oz tweeted a photo of a page from the book, Your Body and the Stars by astrologer Rebecca Gordon. “For centuries, we have used astrological signs to examine our personality and how we interact with those around us, however, these signs may reveal a great deal about our health as well,” the physician and talk show host tweeted. “Discover what your astrological sign can tell you about your health.”

Dr. Jennifer Gunter, a mother-of-two and a board-certified OB/GYN in Canada and the United States, shared Oz’s tweet, writing, “Dude. Just stop. Really. This is embarrassing on so many levels.”

Later that day, when Oz tweeted a promo for his television show extolling the benefits of astrology on the body, Gunter responded, “What if your astrologer and your medium disagree. Who do you choose for health advice?”

And in response to Oz’s claim that 50 might not be the ideal age to undergo one’s first colonoscopy, Gunter tweeted, “I’m a Cancer. Does that impact the age I should be screened?” and “We’re at the point where Dr. Oz is a parody of himself.”

Oz is a familiar target of Gunter. In May, when the doctor ran an article called “How to Avoid Getting Scammed By Fake Psychics” on his website, Gunter scolded him for promoting an alleged real psychic named Laura Lynne Jackson who Gunter called a “scam artist.” She also called out Oz’s so-called bias against psychics “from places like Romania,” a reference that was later removed from his site.

Also in May, when President Trump appointed Oz to his Council on Sports, Fitness, and Nutrition, Gunter mocked the doctor’s health philosophy on Instagram.

I really hate @dr_oz Maybe he has a magic bean for that?

In September, when Oz invited Ivanka Trump on his show to discuss postpartum depression, among other subjects, Gunter accused him of treating the medical condition with kid gloves, writing on her website, “While Oz did put on his T.V. doctor empathy face he asked and offered nothing substantive about postpartum depression. So many missed opportunities to talk about screening and treatment.”

In 2016, Oz invited Donald Trump on his show after a gastroenterologist declared in a letter that if he were elected, he would be “the healthiest individual ever elected to the presidency” (a claim Gunter dismissed as “nonsensical medical information” on the Huffington Post).

After the Oz interview ran, Gunter criticized the TV doc for contradicting himself, not pressing Trump on his plans for Medicaid, and allowing him to sidestep basic health questions.

Even as far back as 2014, Gunter was on the Oz beat — when the doctor asked his Twitter followers to ask him questions, prompting a wave of criticism for making so-called wacky claims, Gunter wrote on her website that the experience should serve as a “Wake-up call that doctors (or at least the ones who don’t want to appear on your show to hawk a product) and a lot of other people think you are cheering for the wrong team.”

Gunter has also made a name for herself as one of Paltrow’s most vocal contesters, refuting health claims made by the actress’s website Goop.

For example, in 2017, the doctor wrote a blog post called Dear Gwyneth Paltrow We’re Not F**king With You We’re Correcting You, XOXO Science,” accusing the star of suggesting that bras cause breast cancer, that inserting jade eggs in the vagina can “cultivate sexual energy…and invigorate our life force,” and that tampons introduce “a toxic burden to the body.”
