Obama's presidential library to be built on Chicago's South Side: AP

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - President Barack Obama's presidential library will be built in Jackson Park in Chicago's South Side, the Associated Press reported on Wednesday, citing an unnamed source.

In May, the Obama Foundation announced that the library would be built in the president's hometown of Chicago, after the city beat out proposals by New York City and Hawaii. The library and museum are expected to be open to visitors by 2020 or 2021.
