Obama turns table on David Letterman at White House

Washington, December 3 (ANI): Barack Obama turned the table on American TV host David Letterman at the Kennedy Center honours reception at the White House on Sunday. "It's different when you're not the one with the mic, isn't it, Dave?" the US President asked the CBS 'Late Show' host. "You're looking a little stressed, aren't you? I'd also point out it's a lot warmer here than it is on Dave's set," Politico quoted Obama as saying. Guests and Letterman frequently joke about the chilly temperature on his hsow. Ticking through Letterman's iconic greatest hits - hail "the size of canned hams" as an Indianapolis weatherman, stupid pet tricks and his ode to New York City a week after 9/11 - Obama tied the funnyman to the legacy of his idol. "Earlier this year, Dave celebrated his 30th anniversary in late night television-the only person to reach that milestone besides Johnny Carson," Obama said. Obama has been on the 'Late Show' seven times. (ANI)
