Obama: Kanye West still a jackass
Yo Kanye, you’re still a jackass. At least, according to President Obama.
Kanye West’s interruption during Taylor Swift’s acceptance speech at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards — “Yo Taylor, I’m really happy for you, and I’ma let you finish, but Beyonce had one of the best videos of all time!” — made a lot of people angry — including President Barack Obama.
Obama was reported to have called the singer a “jackass” after his unnecessary remark at the award show. It seems that even after two years have passed, Kanye has not won over the president.
According to E! Obama, was asked who he liked better: Jay-Z or Kanye West. After choosing Jay-Z, Obama said that Kanye was a smart and talented guy, but “he is a jackass.”
