Spring may be the season that signals a new beginning, but not for Club Monaco. The famed American brand unveiled its Fall 2017 collection, which CEO Francis Pierrel considers "the start of a new moment."
Club Monaco chose the perfect backdrop to debut its "see now, buy now" collection -- the 71st floor of 4 World Trade Center.
"We've chosen to present a women's-only collection during New York's morning commute, but from a location that transcends, shifting the perspective and shaping a new conversation around what workwear means today," Pierrel said of the viewing's unique location.
Guests were treated to 360-degree views of New York City while taking in the brand's latest unveiling.
The 26-look collection is so perfectly autumn. Ensembles in hues of classic reds, gray heathers and rich camels -- with the occasional splash of black or white -- filled the open and airy space.
Pleated trousers in a rich camel color that hit just above the ankles, a ribbed sweater in the same hue and a leopard-print shirt layered underneath.
A pleated dusty pink midi skirt paired with the same leopard-print shirt as the previous look also features a flattering silhouette for every woman.
"The collection is purposeful and versatile by design, with pieces not only meant to build upon each other, but to transcend seasons, living seamlessly within one's wardrobe," said Club Monaco's head of design Steve Cateron.
Hollywood and fashion's elite alike mixed and mingle while enjoying light bites. Kate Mara, impeccably dressed in a floral blazer, dark trouser shorts and stilettos that elongated her toned stems, and Maggie Gyllenhaal, dressed in an eye-catching green skirt, were among the major celebrities in attendance.
