NYFW: 2017 Harper's Bazaar Icons party red carpet

The star power was at an all-time high at the 2017 Harper's Bazaar Icons party on Friday night.

The Plaza Hotel shindig hosted by the American magazine is one of the most highly anticipated events -- outside of the shows -- at New York Fashion Week. The event clearly didn't disappoint in the fashion department.

Kendall Jenner, Selena Gomez and Heidi Klum rocked some of the boldest ensembles of the night, and their fashion risks definitely paid off.

Jenner left little to the imagination in a sheer Dolce & Gabbana number embellished with jewels on the neckline. She polished off her look with strappy heels, dramatic makeup (including a subtle burnt red lip) and retro waves.

In a rare move, Gomez hit the red carpet with her boyfriend, singer The Weeknd. The "Good For You" hitmaker dazzled in a '60s-inspired pale pink mini dress from Valentino, while her famous beau looked dapper in a tuxedo.

Hailey Baldwin went all-gold for the occasion, opting for a shimmering gold body con dress with a Bardot shoulder design that gave prominence to her collarbones.

The one person who was missing from the red carpet? First daughter Tiffany Trump. The Georgetown University law school student made headlines earlier this week after a botched attempt at getting an invite to the exclusive bash.

The Harper's Bazaar icons are hand selected by the magazine's global fashion director, Carine Roitfeld, and the party is sponsored by Swarvoski and Laura Mercier. The guests looked like they were having a blast inside the venue as they danced the night away -- with The Weeknd as the special performer -- and sipped on cocktails provided by Belvedere and Moet & Chandon.
