NEW YORK (PIX11) — Student-parents in New York City may be eligible for free early childhood education for their kids.

The New York City Department of Education, with its Living for the Young Family Through Education program (LYFE), helps kids of student-parents get a free education.

To be eligible, you need to be enrolled in or eligible for a DOE school or program, and the child must be 6 weeks to 4 years old, according to the city’s website.
