A brute randomly kicked an elderly man to the ground — knocking him unconscious and critically injuring him — in a callous Brooklyn attack this week, cops said.

The assailant approached the 79-year-old victim — identified by WABC as Saleh Yahya — as he walked on Flatbush Avenue near Lincoln Road in Prospect-Lefferts Gardens just before 11 p.m. Monday, authorities said.

He kicked the senior in the face, sending him down to the ground and causing him to black out, cops said.

Yahya told WABC from his hospital bed that he can only remember buying food — and then waking up in the hospital.

He was taken to the Kings County Hospital Center in critical but stable condition — and had no apparent interaction with his alleged attacker beforehand, police said.

The vicious attack left him with four fractured ribs and an injured spleen, the network reported.

“I feel bad,” Yahya, who also suffered a cut on his head and pain in his face, told WABC. “Very bad. I can’t even move.”

The severely injured septuagenarian, who said he’s unsure when he’ll be released from the hospital, added that he doesn’t have family to take care of him.
