The alleged assailant, identified as 29-year-old Blanca Rincon-Hoyos, fled the scene before police arrived, authorities said.

Hoyos had allegedly stabbed her ex-boyfriend’s torso and right leg and also stabbed the woman in both of her arms, leading officers to place a tourniquet and provide additional life-saving aid to the victims before EMTs arrived, authorities said.

The victims were taken to a local hospital and treated for their injuries.

Hoyos was later arrested on Sunday and charged with two counts of attempted murder, two counts of assault with a weapon, burglary, and possession of a weapon, police said.
