An obsession with Nutella, that moreish chocolate hazelnut spread, is something that many of us are afflicted with.

Now you can send that addiction into overdrive, with the creation of the Nutella Road Trip — a food truck that's serving up dishes dedicated to the very much loved spread.

The menu's highlights include a crepe stack with Nutella and crispy bacon, a crumpet with Nutella, banana and strawberries, or for those who like fruit dipped with chocolate — a mandarin dipped in Nutella with toasted hazelnuts. Why didn't we think of that?

You can also try stewed winter berries with Nutella and toasted coconut, a pikelet with smashed banana and Nutella, a fruit skewer with Nutella, or raisin toast with Nutella and berries. Yes, there is a lot of the spread to go around.

Unfortunately, it's only available in Australia — touring around Sydney, Melbourne and towns around eastern parts of the country for another week and a bit. Also there's the likelihood of braving lines of enslaved Nutella-loving zombies, brutally hooked on the chocolate spread.

The good news is that it is free, and it's Nutella, duh. As for why it's there, it is part of a promotion to show how people can consume it for breakfast, if eating it at all other hours of the day wasn't enough, hey.

Yes, it's certainly the next best thing to being coated head to toe in the chocolate spread while lying on the ground licking it off one's body as horrified onlookers watch on. Don't tell me to get up, it's a free country!
