TRENTON, N.J. (AP) — A New Jersey politician is under fire for sending a woman nude photos of himself that have shown up on a GOP activist's website.

A lawyer for Cumberland County freeholder Louis Magazzu (MAG'-uh-zoo) said Tuesday that the 53-year-old Democrat sent the photos to a woman with whom he had an online-only relationship. He says they weren't intended for anyone else.

Magazzu is weighing his options in trying to get them removed from the website as calls have come in for his resignation.

The pictures appear to show Magazzu standing naked in front of a mirror photographing himself.

Attorney Rocco Cipparone says Magazzu sent the photos sometime around January. He's been separated from his wife for about two years.

Magazzu resigned as county Democratic Party chairman but remains a county freeholder.
