NPD needs public’s help identifying a burglary suspect

NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — Norfolk police are asking for the public’s assistance with identifying the man who broke into a Ghent business.

On Thursday, May 16 around 4:15 a.m. police responded to Video Game Heaven at 1911 Colonial Ave. for an alarm call.

When officers arrived on the scene, they discovered that someone had broke a window entered the business.

Surveillance video shows the man walking through the store stuffing items into a bag.

In August of last year, two men walked into the same store and demanded money and merchandise. One of the men had a gun.

Detectives are asking anyone who may recognize the man, or who has information about this incident to call the Norfolk Crime Line at 1-888-LOCK-U-UP or submit a tip using the P3Tips mobile app.
