NPD investigate overnight robbery near a 7-Eleven on Raby Rd.

NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) – The Norfolk Police Department is investigating a robbery near a 7-Eleven on Raby Road early Thursday morning.

Officers were notified at 1:32 a.m. of a robbery to an individual in the 5500 block of Raby Road.

An investigation revealed that a man had been assaulted and robbed by acquaintances in the 1100 block of Pickett Road, just under 160 feet from the 7-Eleven.

Jerone A. Hill, 40, was arrested and charged with robbery, malicious wounding, use of a firearm and conspiracy in connection with the incident.

Norfolk police say the investigation is still ongoing.
