Now You Can Download These Netflix Shows and Movies

Sometimes you can’t get a WiFi signal, and Netflix is here to save the day! Subscribers have been asking about it for years, and there’s been rumors that it’s been in development since June, but on Wednesday, Netflix announced that you’ll finally be able to download select movies and series to watch offline.

Numerous films and shows are already available, including Netflix Original series like Stranger Things, The Crown, Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life, Narcos, and Black Mirror. New Netflix comedy specials from Michael Che, Dana Carvey, and Colin Quinn are also ready to download right now, as well as classic, acclaimed and award-winning cinema such as Jaws, Sing Street, Spotlight, Nightcrawler, and The Benchwarmers. Really? The Benchwarmers?

The feature is included for all current subscribers, all you need is a phone or tablet with the Netflix iOS or Netflix Android app. Look for shows with the tiny download arrow, and load up your device, because when holiday travel becomes a nightmare, your favorite shows and movies will be a warm security blanket to protect you.
