On Thursday, Dec. 14, the Federal Communications Commission officially repealed net neutrality rules put in place in 2015 under the Obama administration. Net neutrality is the principle that all internet traffic should be equal and fair, and under the 2015 rules companies weren't allowed to block, slow down or favor specific websites.
