You can now buy tubs of birthday cake-flavoured ice cream

Low-calorie ice cream brand Halo Top has released three delicious new flavours for summer – including birthday cake.

With only 280 calories and 6g of sugar per 473ml tub, you won’t want to share the frozen treat with your loved ones.

And if birthday cake isn’t your sweet treat of choice, Halo Top has also launched red velvet (360 calories per tub) and oatmeal cookie (280 calories).

The brand new flavours are available from Tesco now and will be sold by Ocado and Wholefoods later this month.

Meanwhile, the brand is celebrating the launch by hosting an ice cream pop-up next week.

According to The Grocer, a giant 10ft replica of a Halo Top ice cream tub will appear at London's Potters Field, where you can get you can try a free sample.

Ice cream lovers have have been told to keep an eye on Halo Top’s social channels for the surprise date when the creamery will be giving out the freebies between 12pm and 8pm.

And with the continued heatwave set to bring temperatures over 30C this week, free ice cream is just what we need!
