November Auto Sales: Ford

DETROIT (AP) — Ford Motor Co. said Monday that its November U.S. sales rose 6.5 percent, led by the Ford Focus compact and the F-Series pickup truck.

BY THE NUMBERS: The Dearborn, Mich.-based automaker said it sold 177,673 cars and trucks last month, up from 166,865 a year earlier.

TOP SELLERS: F-Series pickup at 56,299, up almost 18 percent.

HOT MODELS: Focus compact at 18,312, up 56 percent. Ford also sold more than 4,800 C-Max gas-electric hybrid small wagons.
